Courses

I am interested in becoming a model for your classes, who do I contact?

Please go to this page and fill out the model application form. 

Do your courses offer hands-on experience?

Depending on the course, some will strictly be lectures and demonstrations, while others may include hands-on experience injection a live model or silicones/skin pads. Please read each course detail carefully. 

How can I obtain supplies and/or products used during your class? 

Courses at The Aesthetic Series offer CME credits, and so they are planned and implemented independently of commercial organizations. However, in your course material, we may include a list of what is used in your class along with the manufacturer information. 

Who can attend your courses?

Depending on the course, they are all designed for medical providers and personnel. However, some courses will be opened to clinic owners, directors and/or other medical staff and providers. Our injectable courses are offered for licensed medical providers only including physicians (MDs, DOs), nurses (NPs, RNs, APRNs, FNPs), and physician's assistants (PAs, PA-Cs). If you are registered for a class that is only for licensed medical providers, we do require submission of your credentials before the start of your course. Participants will receive an email after registration with directions on submitting their state medical licenses. If this mandatory step is not completed 10 days before the start of the class, you will not be able to participate on the hands-on sessions of the course. A photo ID must be present at the start of the course with a name that matches your medical license.

Do you offer CME credits?

Yes we do offer CME credits. Upon registration, you will receive a registration email containing a student packet that will give your further information on collecting CME credits after the course has been completed. CME credits are only available to you if you have completed the course. 

How do I get more information on your courses?

Please check this page [insert hyperlink] for general course information. As class dates are announced, they will also be posted on this page as well, along with all course detail information. 

Will I need to bring my own model for training?

Each class description will note model requirements and emails will discuss model selection criteria so you can choose the most appropriate models for your training.

What products or laser devices do you teach with?

The Aesthetic Series is not affiliated with any outside organizations and are “product neutral”. The choice of materials used in each course is selected based on the instructors’ preference and the objectives & goals of each course. 

How do I collect my CMEs?

Upon registration, you will receive a registration email containing a student packet that will give your further information on collecting CME credits after the course has been completed. CME credits are only available to you if you have completed the course.

Registration / Payments

How do I register for your courses?

Please see the course page, as courses are announced, a registration link is posted with the course information. 

What is included in your courses?

Your registration includes all taxes, fees, course materials, and meals that lapse during training. Hotel accommodations and any transportation are not included in course fees. However, we usually partner with hotels for a discounted group rate, which we will provide to you at the time of registration. 

How much is each course?

As courses are announced, you will find the price listed next to the respective course.

What method of payment do you take?

We accept all major credit cards. If you wish to pay via Zelle or Venmo, please contact our administration for directions. 


Do you offer a payment plan for your courses?

No, we do not offer a payment plan at the moment. 

Do you offer multi-course discounts?

We do not offer multi-course discounts at the moment.  

Do you offer group discounts?

For providers from the same practice, we do offer a group discount if multiple providers are taking the same course together. Please contact administration for more information. 

What is your refund policy?

All sales are not refundable. If you are unable to attend for any reason, you may defer your registration to a future course date or transfer your registration to a licensed colleague to attend in your absence.

Where do out-of-town participants stay for your courses?

We usually partner with hotels for a discounted group rate, which we will provide to you at the time of registration. Please know that accommodations are not included in your course fees. 

Do your courses include meals?

Yes! Meals that lapse during your training day will be included. Please read each course information clearly as the length of training days differs in each course.

Dr. Hsu currently sees patients out of a couple of Oak Dermatology locations on the outskirts of Chicago, Illinois. Please contact his office to book your appointment.
